As we navigate the early weeks of the year, when resolutions are still fresh and self-care is top of mind, the beauty industry is offering a range of new products designed to elevate your routine. From a revolutionary hair serum that tames frizz around the clock to a nail polish formula that might just help you ditch your gel manicure habit, these 13 standout launches promise to enhance both your appearance and your sense of well-being.

Having spent the past few weeks testing the most talked-about skincare, makeup, and hair care innovations, I’ve narrowed down the very best that are already making waves this January. Whether you’re looking to refresh your beauty arsenal or discover something truly transformative for your winter routine, these are the products worth adding to your shelf this season.

Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate 24/7 Night & Day Serum

Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate 24/7 Night & Day Serum

Bond repair products have become super popular in recent years because they’re so effective at fixing damaged, frizzy hair. This new hair serum is able to bring smoothness and shine in a lightweight formula that works on damp or dry hair and can be left on overnight. As someone with straight hair, I’m thrilled at how well it absorbs without leaving a greasy look or feel behind.

Farmacy Green Clean Gentle Creamy Cleanser

undefinedApple Photos Clean Up

I’ve been a longtime fan of Farmacy’s Green Clean Cleansing Balm, going through multiple jars a year. But for a truly clean face, I always follow up with a second cleanser. The brand’s new Gentle Creamy Cleanser is a great option for feeling clean without triggering any sensitive skin reactions or making your skin feel dry. It has a creamy gel consistency that creates a nice lather and it’s fragrance-free too.

Ilia Barrier Build Skin Protectant Cream

Ilia Barrier Build skin protectant cream

This soothing skin barrier cream will help get dry, flaky skin in check. It has an active level of colloidal oatmeal, which is great for calming stressed, irritated skin. The moisturizer also includes other favorite hydrating ingredients like squalane, glycerin and shea butter. It really is a dream for sensitive skin as it’s formulated without fragrance, noncomedogenic and accepted by the National Eczema Association.

CoverGirl Lash Blast Supercloud Mascara

Covergirl Lash Blast Supercloud mascara

There are several new drugstore mascaras out this January, but this is the one that will be staying in my makeup bag. It has an air-whipped formula that makes it feel light on the lashes as it helps lift and lengthen them. It’s a great everyday option for those that like a natural effect. You won’t get a lot of volume out of the Supercloud mascara, but it was easy to swipe on clump-free and it held a curl all day. The Black Brown shade is perfect for giving your lashes definition while not being as intense as a true black.

Peter Thomas Roth Instant Firmx Collagen Bounce Stick

peter thomas roth collagen bounce stick

For Peter Thomas Roth’s first color cosmetic product, the brand created these makeup sticks that double as skin care. They’re packed with anti-aging ingredients like collagen, hyaluronic acid and peptides and come in three shades: Sheer Glow, Bronze Glow and Blush Glow. I wouldn’t necessarily replace my usual bronzer or blush for these products because they’re so sheer, but they do add a pretty glowy finish on top. They’re ideal for dry skin because they feel like a balm on top of the skin, acting as a barrier against the moisture-zapping winter air.

Lisa Eldridge Pinpoint Concealer Micro Correcting Pencil

Lisa Eldridge Pinpoint Concealer Micro Correcting Pencil

This product is already making a splash among professional makeup artists for its clever design. As thin as a lip liner, the precise pencils allow you to pinpoint blemishes and other small areas you want to cover up. This means that you can let your natural skin show through where you want it to and hide any problem spots without over-applying or creating a cakey base. The built-in sharpener is an added bonus, and the pencil comes in 16 shades.

Urban Decay Face Bond Luminizer Waterproof Liquid Highlighter

urban decay face bond luminizer.

This multi-use luminizer can be used on top of your makeup as highlighter, mixed in with foundation or mixed with body lotion or oil. I also like using it in the “underpainting” technique, and applying it before my other complexion products so it creates a lit-from-within glow. The liquid highlighter adds a noticeable shimmer that will stay all day thanks to the sweat-proof and transfer-resistant formula. There are eight shades to play with for a frosty or warm effect.

Refy Face Sculpt Lifting and Hydrating Moisturizer

Refy Face Sculpt Lifting and Hydrating Moisturizer

The star of this moisturizer is its built-in roller applicator that feels cooling and is great for adding some massage into your routine. I’ve been using it as a priming moisturizer before my makeup, massaging it in with a combination of small circles and lifting movements to stimulate blood flow. It instantly makes me feel more awake and de-puffed. The moisturizer itself is creamy and pleasant, adding hydration that I can feel.

Essie To The Rescue UV Gel Damage Repair

essie to the rescue

If you’re caught in the cycle of getting gel manicures only to cover up the damage said gel manicures have done to your natural nails, this nail strengthening treatment will help you break the pattern. After just one application, I noticed that my nails felt stronger and less brittle, and I liked that it could hide my splitting nails with the sheer pink finish. The clinically tested polish seals and covers up your nail damage, while strengthening the natural nail with proteins and ceramides.

OleHenriksen Après Skin Overnight Moisturizer + Mask

OleHenriksen Après Skin Overnight Moisturizer + Mask

Despite my best attempts at keeping dry skin at bay this winter, the extreme cold managed to leave me with dry patches. This moisturizing treatment helped get my skin back on track. It’s a thick, rich cream that you can apply as an overnight mask and don’t need to rinse off. I found that it worked best layered on top of my usual moisturizer, helping my skin absorb all of the hydrating ingredients in my nighttime skin care.

Credo Beauty Seascape Ceramide Body Serum

credo body serum.jpg

Credo is a destination for shopping clean beauty brands, and the retailer just launched its own line of body care products including a body wash, lotion and this serum. I’ve been using the serum the most because it’s the perfect weight for layering under a body oil. It smells spa-like and is made with a handful of marine ingredients like sea kelp and red algae extracts, along with a ceramide complex to support the skin barrier from top to toe.

NuFace Fix Microwand

A top choice among dermatologists, NuFace’s at-home microcurrent devices help lift and sculpt the face. The new Fix Microwand is made to target small areas like the eyes and lips with quick 3-minute treatments. It’s gentle enough to use around these delicate spots, increasing circulation and smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. I’ve been using it on my under-eye area and smile lines and love how easy the treatment is.
