Merokeety 3/4 Balloon-Sleeve Midi Dress
This T-shirt dress feels soft like pajamas but looks polished enough to wear to the office or on a spring outing. We love how easy it makes to pull an outfit together — pair it with your favorite denim jacket and sneakers or dress it up with ankle boots and trench coat. It comes in 11 striped colors and four solid shades, plus a short-sleeve version.

“This easy-to-slip-on dress is perfect for those days when you don’t want to dress up but still want to feel put together,” says editorial coordinator Rachel Dennis. The effortless style of this dress has been a major selling point for all of us editors. I was pleasantly surprised by how versatile it is—it’s easy to pair with cardigans, jackets (including shackets), and trench coats. Plus, it works with just about any footwear, from sandals to boots. The options for styling are endless!
With the wide variations in sizing, fit, and quality across Amazon’s fashion offerings, it can be a gamble, but we found this dress to be true to size and, even better, it looks exactly like it does in the pictures.
If you’re hesitant about the stripes, rest assured they are surprisingly flattering. Editorial director Chelsea Stone appreciates the stripe pattern for its visual interest, while also noting that solid hues serve as great basics. The transition from horizontal stripes on top to vertical stripes on the skirt creates a lengthening illusion for the legs. Unlike boxy T-shirt dresses, this one features a cinched high waist that enhances the figure and complements the design beautifully.
The midi length suits our varying heights perfectly. Stone notes it’s neither too short nor too long—if you’re petite, it will hit mid-calf, making it ideal with sneakers or ballet flats. Taller individuals will find it falls just below the knee, making it an office-appropriate choice.
While it might not be a traditional “nap dress,” it boasts a pajama-level softness that could easily inspire a cozy snooze. We were all impressed by the stretchy, comfortable fabric, which has a lovely weight and drape. Plus, it’s machine-washable, adding to its practicality.
We’ve loved the versatility of this dress this spring and have plenty more plans for it. Dennis is packing it for a cruise trip next month, while I’m considering grabbing another color for coordinating (but not overly matchy) Mother’s Day outfits with my mom.
